Nigerian singer, Yemi Eberechi Alade, simply known as Yemi Alade, has weighed in on the quit notice threat issued by the Coalition of Northern Youths supported by the Northern Elders Forum.

The singer whose is from mixed tribes as her father is of Yoruba origin while her mother is of Igbo origin has reacted on Instagram, calling for Nigerians to unite.

The ‘Johnny crooner’ said there are no gains in tribal disunity but bloodshed.

She wrote:

“Dear Nigerians, history has never recorded any gains in disunity 

“Disunity only lead to blood shed, what are you fighting for. Just tribe tribe

“There are no gains in disunity #Naija for life.

“The only tribes are ‘THE ELITES AND THE MASSES.’
